Choose an Aegean base to fit the route
Ephesus gives a cultural journey along the Aegean a clear focus. Nearby Selçuk and Kuşadası, together with Izmir and other coastal stops, appear in different Colorido itineraries. Choose your base through the programme's overnight plan: a tour with a full archaeological day needs a different rhythm from a route continuing inland after the visit.
Decide how deeply to explore Ephesus
The Library of Celsus, the Great Theatre and the ancient streets are central to Ephesus programmes. Some routes also include the House of the Virgin Mary, while more specialised archaeological programmes add the Terrace Houses, Selçuk's museum or the Basilica of Saint John. Religious-interest routes may make a different selection of sites. Compare the named visits and admissions before deciding which programme fits your interests.
Extend the theme along the coast
Pergamon brings another perspective through its Acropolis and Asclepion. Assos, Izmir and Alaçatı offer further route possibilities in the catalog's private and archaeological journeys. Select the stops you most want to explore and discuss how they connect; several attractive destinations can still require separate travel days.
If food, neighbourhood walks or time by the waterfront matter to you, ask where the programme leaves free time instead of adding activities to every day.
Connect the Aegean with the interior
Ephesus and Pamukkale can form part of the same regional journey, with onward links to Cappadocia or Istanbul. Flight-based and road itineraries organise this differently. Confirm the arrival airport, departure airport, transfers, guide language and accommodation locations against the chosen programme, particularly if you arrange independent flights before or after the tour.
