Where the child policy applies
The child policy applies to per-person quotations for cultural circuits and private programmes operated in Turkey.
The reduction is calculated from the adult rate for the selected programme and depends on the stated room arrangement.
Age bands and reductions
Ages 0–2: no charge for the land package; mandatory flight tickets, taxes and insurance remain payable.
Ages 3–6: a 50% reduction from the adult programme rate when sharing with two adults in an existing or extra bed.
Ages 7–11: a 25% reduction from the adult programme rate when sharing with two adults in an existing or extra bed.
Ages 12 and over: adult rates and adult treatment for accommodation and services.
Room arrangements
Child reductions apply only when sharing a room with two adults, using an existing or extra bed.
A child in a separate room is quoted as an adult with the single-room supplement; the reduction does not apply.
The reduction applies to the first child staying with two adults.
For two adults and two children, a standard room is not generally suitable; the quotation is recalculated for the available family, connecting or second-room arrangement.
Triple rooms generally have two standard beds and an extra bed.
Age and written confirmation
Age is determined on the first day of travel; proof of age may be requested at check-in.
Every reduced child quotation must be confirmed in writing before services are issued.
Provide the ages at the start of travel and the proposed rooming list with the enquiry. The written quotation identifies the accepted bed arrangement and any additional compulsory services.
Planning a family route
Review the actual walking, road and air stages of the chosen programme. Tell us about mobility, meal or other participation needs before confirmation so that proposed adjustments can be assessed for the specific route. Cancellation of a child’s booked place follows the same partial-cancellation rules as other places.
