Detailed Tour Program
Day 1 · Arrival in Istanbul
Arrive at the airport and meet our assistant. Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 2 · Classic Istanbul
Visit Hagia Sophia, whose dome was the largest in the Christian world for 900 years. Enjoy free time for lunch, then visit the Roman Hippodrome from the era of Emperor Septimius Severus and the Blue Mosque with its impressive collection of İznik tiles. Finish at the Grand Bazaar. Topkapı Palace can be visited optionally.

Day 3 · Bosphorus and bazaars · Flight to Cappadocia
Visit the Mosque of Sultan Süleyman the Magnificent and the Egyptian Bazaar, also known as the Spice Bazaar, the second-largest and second-oldest in Istanbul, where spices, dried fruit, sweets, saffron, tea and caviar are sold. After free time for lunch, cruise along the Bosphorus on a regular ferry between Ottoman palaces, wooden mansions, Ortaköy Square and the bridges linking two continents. In the afternoon, fly to Cappadocia.
Overnight: Cappadocia. Dinner at the hotel.
Flight: Istanbul–Cappadocia, 1 hour 15 minutes.
Day 4 · Cappadocia · Green tour
An optional balloon flight is available before dawn. Visit the Göreme panorama, Kaymaklı Underground City, Ihlara Valley for a walk, Selime Monastery and Pigeon Valley. A Turkish Night can be arranged on request.
Meals: breakfast and dinner.
Day 5 · Cappadocia · Red tour
Visit Uçhisar Castle, Göreme Open-Air Museum, Love Valley, Avanos for a pottery demonstration and Imagination Valley. Visit carpet and semiprecious-stone workshops.
Meals: breakfast and dinner.
Day 6 · Cappadocia · Pamukkale
Cross Anatolia towards the Aegean with a lunch stop; lunch is not included. In the afternoon, discover the dazzling white Cotton Castle of Pamukkale and the Roman baths of Hierapolis, including its necropolis and theatre. Dinner at the hotel.
Overnight: Pamukkale.
By road: 650 km, approximately 8 hours including stops.
Day 7 · Ephesus and the Aegean coast
In Ephesus, walk along Marble Street to the Library of Celsus, look out over the Theatre and admire the Temple of Hadrian. Visit the House of the Virgin Mary, with time at a regional leather outlet.
Overnight: İzmir / Kuşadası.
By road: 190 km, approximately 3 hours.
Day 8 · Çanakkale and return to Istanbul
Depart towards Istanbul. Reach the Dardanelles and cross from Asia to Europe over the long 1915 Çanakkale suspension bridge. Arrive in Istanbul, transfer to the hotel and overnight stay.
By road: 620 km, approximately 8 hours including stops.
Day 9 · Departure
Breakfast—a breakfast box may be provided depending on the departure time—and transfer to the airport for your return flight. End of services.
