Different traditions
Belly dance belongs to a wider regional performance culture. It differs from Mevlevi sema, with its particular spiritual and musical context.
Choose the setting
Restaurant shows, stage performances and evening boat programmes offer different settings. Ask for the actual programme rather than expect every dance in one event.
Fit the next morning
Confirm venue, finishing time, meals and return transport. An early flight or sightseeing start determines how late an evening activity can sensibly run.
