Detailed Tour Program
Day 1 · Arrival in Antakya
A private break in ancient Antioch, at the meeting point of Anatolia, the Mediterranean and the Middle East: Roman mosaics, the historic Habib-i Neccar Mosque and Hatay's distinctive cuisine.
Meet at Hatay Airport and transfer to the hotel. The planned visits cover Habib-i Neccar Mosque, traditionally described as Anatolia's oldest mosque, and a walk through Antakya's historic centre and bazaar, among olives, spices and laurel-soap workshops. Dinner is included at a local Hatay restaurant, with regional hummus, kebab and baklava traditions.
Day 2 · Mosaic museum · St Peter's Church · Departure
The itinerary includes Hatay Archaeology Museum and its Roman and Byzantine mosaics, followed by the Cave Church of St Peter, associated with the earliest Christian communities. Transfer to the airport for departure. The planned monument and museum visits require confirmation for the requested dates.
