Detailed Tour Program
Day 1: Istanbul
Arrive at Istanbul Airport and meet the assistant at gate 9. Transfer to the hotel and overnight accommodation.
Day 2: Istanbul
Breakfast at the hotel. Begin with a visit to Dolmabahçe Palace, where Atatürk, the founder of the modern Turkish Republic, lived and died. Continue to Bebek, a modern area. Take a regular boat across to the Asian Side and visit Otağtepe for remarkable views.
After lunch, take a regular boat back to the European Side. Transfer to the hotel and overnight accommodation.
Day 3: Istanbul
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to visit Galataport, with views of Hagia Sophia Mosque and Topkapı Palace. An optional excursion to Büyükada, the largest of the Princes' Islands, is available. Transfer to the hotel and overnight accommodation.
Day 4: Istanbul — Cappadocia by flight — flight included
Breakfast box and an early transfer to the airport for the flight to Cappadocia. On arrival, visit Devrent Valley, followed by Avcılar and Güvercinlik valleys. In the afternoon, transfer to the hotel and dinner.
Day 5: Cappadocia
Optional tour: Hot-air balloon ride to enjoy a wonderful panorama in one of the world's most beautiful regions.
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Özkonak Underground City, built by Christian communities seeking protection from the Romans. An optional Jeep Safari excursion in a 4×4 vehicle among the fairy chimneys offers a memorable experience. Then visit a traditional shop known for carpets handmade using an ancient technique. Dinner at the hotel and overnight accommodation.
Optional tour: Folk-dance show in a typical cave, with a limited quantity of local drinks.
Day 6: Cappadocia
Breakfast at the hotel and a visit to the old village of Uçhisar at Cappadocia's highest point. Continue to the Love valleys, with free time to take photographs. In the afternoon, visit a shop selling jewellery and stones characteristic of Cappadocia. Dinner at the hotel and overnight accommodation.
Day 7: Cappadocia — Caravanserai — Pamukkale
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Pamukkale. On the way, visit Sultanhan Caravanserai, where caravans travelling the Silk Road used to stop. Then stop at a clothing outlet. Arrival at the hotel, dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 8: Pamukkale
Breakfast at the hotel. A free day to enjoy the thermal pools. Dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 9: Pamukkale — Izmir or Kuşadası
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Izmir or Kuşadası. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 10: Izmir or Kuşadası
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day. Dinner at the hotel and overnight accommodation.
Day 11: Izmir or Kuşadası — Çanakkale — Istanbul
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Çanakkale. Visit Assos Castle, where the famous philosopher Aristotle lived. Free time to photograph the memorable scenery. Continue to Istanbul. Arrival, transfer to the hotel and overnight accommodation.
Day 12: Istanbul — city of origin
Breakfast; depending on the departure time, a breakfast box may be provided. Transfer to the airport for the return flight. End of services.
