Compare the same journey
Two itineraries may name the same destinations while offering very different amounts of time in them. Begin with a day-by-day comparison: identify travel days, visiting days, independent periods and optional excursions. A city mentioned in a heading does not show how long the programme actually spends there.
Make the service list explicit
Place accommodation, airport transfers, regional transport, guiding, admissions and meals in separate rows. Mark each as included, excluded or still to be confirmed in the actual proposal. This avoids treating a broad description such as complete tour as a substitute for a detailed scope. Extra activities should remain visible rather than being confused with core visits.
Look at location and transport together
Ask where the proposed accommodation is situated and how the visits begin from there. A flight-based route and an overland circuit need different comparisons: check airports or departure points, transfers, nights and the time available after arrival. Compare the whole journey rather than one transport segment in isolation.
Know who is responsible for each stage
Request the identity and contact details of the organisation arranging the trip and clarify who coordinates any local services. Ask how guiding language is confirmed and how changes are communicated. If credentials are provided, check them with the relevant issuing organisation instead of relying on a badge or a broad statement alone.
Keep the agreed version
Before deciding, request a dated proposal and the terms that apply to it. Keep the final itinerary, confirmed inclusions and any separately arranged international flights together. Colorido can discuss the scope of your request; this guide offers comparison questions rather than judging another provider or predicting the quality of a trip.
