Day 1: Northern Cappadocia: valleys, pottery and a rock-cut site
Begin from the agreed Cappadocia accommodation or local meeting point. The northern route links Paşabağ’s Monks Valley and its tall rock formations with the imaginative shapes of Devrent, then Avanos for the pottery tradition and a demonstration when arranged. Continue to the Uçhisar Castle exterior viewpoint. The cultural-site choice is Göreme Open-Air Museum or Zelve: the selected alternative will be identified in the final itinerary, rather than assuming both visits. Reserve a lunch break and return to the accommodation after the day’s visits. Nevşehir or Kayseri Airport transfers are separate alternatives. No overnight accommodation is part of this one-day route.
