Decide what Egypt adds to your Turkey route
Begin with the Turkish programme you want to keep: an Istanbul stay, an Istanbul–Cappadocia combination, or a wider circuit. Then identify the purpose of the Egyptian stage. A Cairo stay focused on the city and Giza is a different commitment from an itinerary that also travels through the Nile Valley.
Treat these as separate route choices before combining them. A title that mentions Turkey and Egypt does not establish the number of nights, the selected archaeological visits or the inclusion of a Nile cruise. The written day-by-day programme should make those decisions visible.
Separate Cairo from a Nile itinerary
For the Cairo stage, identify which city, museum and archaeological visits you actually want. Ask whether the proposal includes guided visits, admissions and transport between the chosen places, as well as the time available at each stop. Specify mobility needs and the pace you prefer rather than judging the day only by the length of its sightseeing list.
A Nile extension needs its own arrival and departure points. If a cruise is proposed, confirm the actual vessel arrangement, sailing section, nights aboard, cabin category and shore visits in the written offer. A cruise described in another programme is not automatically included in this combination.
Make every travel day explicit
An international flight between Turkey and Egypt changes the practical shape of the journey. Check the departure airport, arrival airport, baggage rules and both airport transfers. Hotel checkout and room availability at the next stop also belong in the plan. Compare the proposed sequence using actual travel dates instead of assuming that every advertised connection operates daily.
If the Egyptian stage involves another flight or a cruise embarkation, request a clear explanation of the connection and the assistance provided. Keep separately booked tickets and services visible so that responsibilities and any different amendment or cancellation conditions can be assessed before confirmation.
